Although all of Nana’s baked goods are absolutely amazing, the wide variety of banana breads are by far the best baked goods you can get in the Santa Clarita Valley! Nana’s makes bread using only the finest and freshest ingredients available. This traditional banana bread recipe was first created in the late 1800’s, by the great grandmother of the current owner, Gloria Lucia. The bread was then made by Gloria’s grandmother, Nana, in order to help make money for the household without having to leave the house. Gloria’s mother Betty continued to help her mother make bread until leaving Colombia and moving to Los Angeles. Gloria and her mother then started making bread together, eventually bringing Gloria’s daughter into the business as well.
In 2014, the first bakery was opened in Newhall, introducing a line of amazing baked goods. All of these products are made with an emphasis on the finest ingredients, just like the banana bread that has made so many mouths water.
